Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Role Purpose To provide day to day electrical maintenance of all machinery, services and facilities within Operations and provide manufacturing operations with technical support and pro-active solutions to engineering/manufacturing problems and initiatives to ensure production ability is maintained and maximised. 5 Things to know about this role: Its in a leading manufacturing company Fantastic shift allowance and Competitive Salary Paid Breaks No Nights No Weekends Job Duties: Ensure effective maintenance of all equipment and facilities to maximize equipment availability. Complete mechanical and electrical repairs, minimizing downtime and disruptions to production. Investigate equipment failures to determine root causes and implement solutions to maximise equipment availability. Assist in developing planned maintenance schedules for all equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance. Ensure adequate stocks of spares and lubricants are maintained to support continuous production. Work in partnership with production to improve equipment availability, effectiveness, and product quality. Support the installation of new equipment and plant as required. Always Adhere to all Company Health and Safety policies What you will need: At least 3 years industrial maintenance experience in a production environment Proven experience and knowledge of fault finding and repair on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job. Time-served electrical and/or mechanical engineer NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.
