Interim Consumer Credit & Retail Finance Lawyer

We are working with a leading ALSP to offer an exciting interim assignment with a global payments and credit business. The role is ideally suited to an experienced Consumer Credit & Retail Finance Lawyer seeking a short-term opportunity to contribute to a high-profile in-house team. You will be supporting the UK Products Legal Team with an increased workload, advising on a wide range of matters including: Consumer credit issues relating to credit card products and services. Third-party supplier arrangements connected to retail finance. Regulatory considerations around running account credit, including application of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and other relevant UK/global payment regimes. We are looking for a qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with: 5 years' PQE in consumer credit and retail finance law. Solid knowledge of UK regulatory regimes (and awareness of global frameworks). Experience from a top law firm and/or in-house financial services environment. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Availability to commit to a short-term assignment starting September 2025.
