Job Description

Park Recruit are delighted to be working with a well-established electrical contracting business to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator . The company delivers high-quality electrical services to prestigious clients across the Educational, Industrial, Commercial, Hospitality & Leisure, and Sports Floodlighting sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in the preparation of tender submissions and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business. Key Responsibilities: Analyse tender documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules, to prepare accurate bids. Prepare and submit competitive tenders within specified deadlines. Liaise with the supply chain to obtain competitive and compliant quotations. Identify and cost value engineering opportunities. Attend mid-tender and post-tender review meetings as required. Work collaboratively with the project delivery team, ensuring effective handovers to preconstruction and contracts managers. Key Skills & Criteria: Minimum of 2 years experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar role. Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods, ideally supported by a relevant apprenticeship or HNC/HND qualification. Proficient in Microsoft 365, with experience using Trimble estimating software preferred. Strong commercial awareness and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Excellent opportunity to join an established contractor with a secure pipeline of projects. Salary is negotiable and will be reflective of experience.
