Director of Data Architecture Location: London (Hybrid Working) Job Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £140,000 Bonus We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Data Architecture to join a leading consultancy and play a pivotal role as the number two leader within their growing Data Practice. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a blend of strategic pre-sales expertise, client engagement, and team leadership to drive large-scale data transformation programmes across multiple industries. As a Director of Data Architecture , you’ll lead end-to-end bid and pre-sales efforts, shaping enterprise-level data solutions, building consensus between sales and delivery teams, and ensuring financial alignment. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting at senior levels, while also driving internal practice development, mentoring senior data architects, and managing other Directors within the practice. Key Skills & Expertise: Proven experience as a Data Architecture Leader or Director Extensive expertise in bids and pre-sales, including end-to-end solution design, pricing, and delivery alignment Ability to bridge the gap between sales and delivery, balancing cost, risk, and solution integrity Strong experience presenting to C-level stakeholders and leading complex client engagements Demonstrated success in practice development, coaching and managing senior architects and cross-functional teams Strong consulting background within large-scale data transformation programmes Previous experience within top-tier consulting firms, systems integrators, or data-driven organisations highly desirable You’ll Enjoy: 20% annual bonus £5,000 car allowance High-level exposure across enterprise-scale client programmes Opportunity to influence and shape a growing, high-performing data practice Hybrid working, with a London base required for regular client and leadership engagements If you’re an experienced Director of Data Architecture with strong pre-sales expertise, client leadership skills, and practice development experience, this is your opportunity to join a fast-growing consultancy at the forefront of data-driven transformation.
