Chill Co-ordinator

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Chill Co-ordinator to join our team in Pilgrim's Europe - Moy Park at Ballymena site. This is an active role on the floor in a fast-moving chilled goods environment, where you will ensure all stock is accurately controlled, rotated, and utilised in line with production requirements. Key Information: Competitive pay: £14.43 per hour Permanent, stable employment Work Pattern: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am- 6pm Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday 6am- 6pm Supportive and safe working environment Key Responsibilities • Arrange and stage material on the floor against the daily production schedule. • Ensure all incoming and outgoing stock is accurately recorded and discrepancies actioned. • Conduct regular physical stock counts and resolve discrepancies. • Monitor and record production overruns to minimise waste. • Ensure allergen segregation and compliance with hygiene, quality, and housekeeping standards. • Support environmental impact reduction by monitoring energy usage and waste. • Communicate effectively across departments and provide clear shift handovers. • Drive continuous improvement and support initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety. What We're Looking For Essential: • Strong communication and organisational skills. • Good level of English (written, reading & verbal). • Ability to give instructions clearly and effectively lead a team. • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable. • Good timekeeping, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Desirable: • Previous experience working within a poultry/meat or fast-paced manufacturing environment. • A proven track record of achieving results at supervisory level.
