This pivotal role is accountable for driving strategic direction, commercial success, and operational excellence across the division. While previous experience in logistics leadership is valuable, we are equally open to individuals who bring exceptional behaviours, leadership potential, and the appetite to grow into the role with our full support. What Youll Do Shape the strategy: Work with the Operations Director to define and deliver the divisional vision, staying ahead of industry and regulatory changes. Drive commercial growth: Take responsibility for divisional performance, balancing revenue growth, efficiency, and customer value. Lead operational excellence: Support cross-functional teams to deliver service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. Strengthen relationships: Build trusted partnerships with key customers, suppliers, and industry bodies. Inspire people: Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team, championing accountability, innovation, and inclusion. What Were Looking For Strong leadership behaviours: collaborative, accountable, resilient, and commercially aware. Strategic thinker with the ability to influence, inspire, and deliver results. Experience in logistics, distribution, or haulage Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) in Road Haulage is essential (or the commitment to achieve this with our support).
