Job Title: Lodge Anchor Location: South Africa, KwaZulu Natal, KwaZulu Natal Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Secondary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Job Duties: Oversee and manage daily operations of the lodge Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional service Coordinate with staff to maintain cleanliness and organisation Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner Monitor and manage lodge inventory and supplies Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Participate in staff training and development programmes Required Qualifications: Proven experience in a hospitality or tourism management role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays Education: Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of lodge operations and guest services Knowledge of health and safety regulations Proficiency in MS Office and reservation systems Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively Preferred Qualifications: Certification in First Aid and CPR Additional language proficiency Working Conditions: Fast-paced and dynamic lodge environment Potential exposure to outdoor elements Interaction with guests and staff on a daily basis
