Farm and Vineyard Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: General maintenance across the farm, including: Electrical work Plumbing Carpentry Vineyard maintenance (including pruning and harvesting for wine production) Troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day operational issues Supervising a small team (approximately 2 staff members) Reporting directly to the farm owner Ensuring compliance with wine industry standards Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in farming and vineyard operations Strong technical skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative Confident, assertive, and capable of managing people effectively Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English Valid drivers licence Added Advantages: Relevant agricultural or Trade qualifications (e.g., electrician, plumber) Experience in winemaking or cellar work Proficient in operating farm machinery and equipment (tractor, forklift, chainsaw, grinder, lawnmower, etc.) This is a long-term position suited to someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to take responsibility within a structured and professional farm environment.
