Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Kissimmee, FL

We are seeking a highly qualified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-week locum tenens position beginning Aug 4, 2025, in Florida. The successful candidate will handle diverse emergency cases using Meditech EHR, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This role requires board certification in Emergency Medicine. Job Details Location: Florida Start Date: Aug 4, 2025 LOA: 36 weeks Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule: To be determined Responsibilities and Duties Provide immediate assessment and treatment of emergent medical conditions in patients of all ages. Perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, and lumbar puncture. Interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs, X-rays, and laboratory results. Coordinate with medical staff to determine a comprehensive treatment plan. Maintain accurate records and document all patient interactions in Meditech EHR. Ensure compliance with all facility, state, and federal guidelines and laws. Additional Information Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine required. Must hold a current Florida medical license. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS. Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
