Instrument Technician - Offshore Ad Hoc Cover (North Sea)

We're seeking a skilled Offshore Instrument Technician to provide short-term cover for a team member currently off sick. This ad hoc opportunity is based in the North Sea , supporting a well-established operation with a strong safety culture and efficient workflows. Key Responsibilities: Perform inspection, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation systems Support fault-finding and troubleshooting across control and safety systems Ensure compliance with site procedures and offshore safety standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain operational integrity Essential Requirements: CompEx certification (EX01-EX04 minimum) Proven offshore experience in instrumentation and control systems Strong understanding of hazardous area equipment and ATEX compliance Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities Desirable: Small Bore Tubing Training (SBT02) or equivalent Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and isolation procedures Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic control systems Location & Duration: Offshore North Sea Ad hoc position, expected to last several weeks (with potential for extension and future ad hoc work) Would suit someone who's looking for Adhoc or is in between roles to support them before securing a permanent position.
