Our client, a leading global commodities trading house, is seeking a Surveillance Analyst to join their compliance team. Key Responsibilities Monitor trading activity and electronic communications to detect potential market abuse, manipulation, or other regulatory breaches. Conduct detailed investigations into alerts, escalating issues where necessary. Maintain and enhance surveillance tools, systems, and procedures to ensure effective risk detection. Liaise with compliance advisory, front-office, and operations teams to address findings and improve controls. Assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders and, when necessary, regulatory bodies. Support the ongoing development of the firm’s surveillance framework in line with evolving regulations and market practices. Requirements 2 years’ experience in compliance surveillance within commodities, energy, or broader financial services. Experience using trade surveillance systems and interpreting market data. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
