IT Finance Systems Support Lead

The Role Barchester Healthcare is one of the UK's leading care providers, with a strong reputation for delivering quality services across our homes and hospitals. We are now looking for an IT Finance Systems Support Lead to play a pivotal role in supporting and optimising our billing system (Civica, formerly Coldharbour) and our procurement system (Medius). Working closely with Finance, Procurement, IT, and external vendors, you'll manage a team of analysts, oversee day-to-day support, and drive continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical support and people management experience to step into a role where they can make a real impact. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of Finance Systems Support Analysts. Manage support requests from Finance and Procurement teams, ensuring timely resolution. Oversee system stability, upgrades, and enhancements. Produce dashboards and reporting through Power BI to track performance and identify recurring issues. Act as a key liaison between Finance, Procurement, IT, and system vendors (Civica & Medius). Ensure compliance with data security, audit, and regulatory standards. Drive continuous improvement and support colleagues to maximise system capability. About You We're looking for a proactive and collaborative leader with: Proven experience in application support and team management (min. 1 year). Strong understanding of data management, security, and best practices. Excellent communication skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and make sound decisions. Experience with Civica and/or Medius (or similar finance/procurement systems) would be an advantage.
