Overview Join to apply for the Digital Solution Engineering Specialist role at ABB . Hybrid work model. Location: Vittuone (Milan). This position reports to the Service Sales Manager . The role supports the adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment and their subsequent operations and maintenance. Our mission is to enhance the efficiency and reliability of electric motors through advanced data acquisition and predictive maintenance. The main stakeholders are customers and all internal functions involved in the creation and sale of our digital solutions. Responsibilities Developing and proposing digital solutions that enable the acquisition of data from electric motors, processing this data, and providing predictive maintenance recommendations to our clients. Provide predictive maintenance recommendations based on data analysis for all ABB installed base and more. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Test and troubleshoot the final system setup and ensure its rollout through training and ongoing support for customers. Contribute to the software product roadmap and portfolio by suggesting new features, functionality, and variants. Qualifications Understanding of electric motors, inverters, drives, and predictive maintenance is highly appreciated. Ability to understand customer needs and build collaborative relationships. Enhanced knowledge of Power BI and Python. Passion for Digital Solutions and Energy Efficiency. Engineering degree (Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, etc.). Ability to communicate in Italian and English. Availability to travel to visit customers when needed.
