Project Engineer

Project Engineer role at Northland Controls Northland Control Systems, Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer in Malaysia. The mission of the Project Engineer is to provide full support to the PMO, Program, and Project Managers by assisting with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing of technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. Responsibilities Assists and supports both the PMO, Project and Program Managers by coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment documentation and information Liaises with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives Ensures client needs are met as the project evolves Participates in site meetings Assists in preparing action plans using resources from time and budget projects Ensures all projects are completed on time, within budget and with high quality standards Assists in monitoring the project progress and responds to issues as they arise Acts as a point of contact and communicates project status to all participants Works with project and program managers to eliminate project blockers Uses tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenses/expenditures Creates and maintains project documentation, plans and reports Ensures standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests Manages small moves, adds, and changes Other duties as assigned Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. 2 or more years' field and project planning experience. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Planner, Project) Strong working knowledge of BlueBeam and PlanGrid Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices. Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective organizational and problem-solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Strong client-facing and teamwork skills Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Preferable to have CCURE/Lenel/Genetec certification Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Security and Investigations Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Northland Controls.
