B-Class Welder Location: Vaal Areas - Sedibeng, Vereeniging, Vanderbijlpark, Sasolburg Employment Type: Contractor Seniority Level: Mid-Career (2 - 4 yrs exp) Report to: CLO Industry: Mining Function: Maintenance Minimum Requirements: Red Seal Welding Certificate (Trade Tested). Minimum 3 years welding experience, preferably in a power station or heavy industrial environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols. Knowledge of welding procedures, safety standards, and quality control requirements. Physically fit and able to work at heights or confined spaces when required. Key Responsibilities: Perform welding tasks (arc, MIG, TIG, and other processes) according to project specifications. Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components. Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards through visual checks and non-destructive testing. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition. Adhere to site safety protocols and ensure compliance with power station regulations.
