Job Description

Our client is looking for a proactive and technically skilled In-House Support Technician to join their team. This role involves providing reliable IT support, assisting with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for both staff and clients. The ideal candidate will be solution-driven, detail-oriented, and able to deliver efficient technical assistance in a fast-paced environment. Minimum requirements: Matric or equivalent qualification Reliable transport 1–2 years’ experience in a technical support or call centre environment (ISP/IT industry advantageous) Fluent in English (Afrikaans or additional languages advantageous) Computer literate with experience in CRM/ticketing systems Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if needed Required skills: Strong knowledge of basic networking (routers, Wi-Fi, fibre, LTE) Excellent troubleshooting skills Problem-solving skills Good communication skills with the ability to guide non-technical customers Customer-focused, patient, and able to work under pressure Team player with the ability to work independently when required Remuneration: R 8 500 - R 9 500 Cost to Company, depending on experience IMPORTANT: Applications close 12 September 2025 Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted No social media messages / comments will be responded to
