Maintenance Coordinator

Position Title: Maintenance Coordinator Job Level: Junior Management Location: HAMMANSKRAAL About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing productivity, minimising asset downtime, and coordinating both planned and unplanned maintenance activities. This position reports to the Deputy Factory Manager Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage annual maintenance plans to align with the asset management strategy. Schedule and oversee the execution of maintenance work, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Coordinate maintenance activities, including statutory inspections, shutdown planning, and non-urgent work allocation. Maintain accurate asset care plans and ensure their regular updates in the On Key system. Conduct over-inspections of critical maintenance tasks and manage feedback to enhance performance. Monitor and analyse maintenance KPIs, identifying opportunities for process improvement. Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards and participate in related audits and investigations. Qualifications and Experience: Matric. National Diploma in Industria, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or NQF5 in planning beneficial. Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing and/or a planning/coordinator role.
