Job Title: Boilermaker Seniority Level: Mid-Career (4 - 6 yrs exp) Type: Contractor Location: Vaal area: Sedibeng, Vereeniging, Vanderbijlpark Region: Gauteng Duties and Responsibilities: Minimum Requirements: Red Seal Boilermaker Certificate (Trade Tested). 3-5 years experience as a Boilermaker, preferably in a power station or similar heavy industrial setting. Proficient in fabrication, installation, and repair of boilers, pressure vessels, and steel structures. Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical diagrams. Knowledge of safe working practices, OHS Act, and risk assessments. Key Responsibilities: Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components, ducts, and pressure parts. Perform cutting, welding, grinding, and shaping of metal components. Inspect and repair boilers, tanks, and pressure systems. Conduct routine maintenance and ensure equipment integrity. Comply with safety standards and report hazards or defects.
