Tool Setter

Our client in the manufacturing and engineering sector is seeking a Tool Setter to join their team. Location: Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha Job type: On-site Duties and Responsibilities Confirm there are no out of tolerance conditions Follow production process and report any necessary deviations Adhere to tool maintenance schedule Maintain sharp cutting tools in all machines Program tool offsets and assist with CNC program offsets if required Do cutting tool setting Machine process set ups as required – clock fixtures Maintain cutting tool stock levels and back up tooling Comply with SHE and Quality systems, policies and procedures Ensure department tooling budgets are managed and controlled Minimum Requirements Grade 12 with Maths Fluent in English CNC operating experience Computer literate Knowledge of quality systems Be able to manage resources Ability to understand technical terms Ability to write reports Skills Understand root cause and solve problems effectively Good presentation and communication skills Precision measurement and inspection skills Should you wish to be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly to the advertisement.
