Wine Lounge Runner

This position is for a beautiful and award-winning Estate in the Cape Winelands. They are known for their art, fine-dining and wine, and care about sustainability. This is a great opportunity to work as a runner in their wine tasting area, and is perfect for someone who has patience, perseverance and personality. Candidate Requirements: At least 1-2 years of previous work experience in a similar role. Must have own/reliable transport. Comfortable dealing with distinguished clientele. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be well-presented, with an enthusiastic personality. Strong customer service skills. Willing to work flexible hours. Problem-solving and get-it-done attitude. Responsibilities: Cleaning of the kitchen and front of house area. Setting the tables up outside in the mornings. Keeping tables cleared of plates, glasses, etc. Collecting of water bottles. Making sure bins are empty before and end of service. Assisting the cook with plating, polishing of glasses and washing of dishes. Taking platters from the kitchen to be served. Keeping the kitchen fridges stocked up. Provide exceptional service to ensure guests have the best stay and experience possible. Ensuring displays are freshly presented, clean and eye-catching. This is a live-out position.
