A well-established dental practice in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking an HPCSA-registered Oral Hygienist to join their professional team. The successful candidate will focus on preventative care, patient education, and long-term oral health, while contributing to a supportive and collaborative practice environment. About the Practice This is a modern, professional practice that values collaboration, patient education, and preventative dentistry. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and polishing to support long-term oral health. Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventative care, and lifestyle practices that promote dental wellness. Work alongside the dentist to support treatment planning, including aesthetics and cosmetic procedures. Contribute to creating a calming, friendly, and positive patient experience. Maintain accurate records in line with HPCSA requirements. Requirements Registered Oral Hygienist with the HPCSA. Minimum 12 years experience in a clinical setting. A passion for patient education, prevention, and oral aesthetics. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable personality.
