SAICA Trainee Accountant (Undergraduate) POS25226 Location : Menlyn, Pretoria Salary : R10 13 000.00 per month About the Role We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate Trainee Accountant to join our clients dynamic accounting and auditing team. This role is part of a structured SAICA Training Programme, designed to provide professional work experience in auditing, accounting, and taxation, while you complete your degree and progress towards becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). Requirements Currently studying towards a BCom Accounting / BAcc / equivalent SAICA-accredited degree (2nd/3rd year undergraduate). Strong academic record (must meet SAICA requirements). Must be able to speak Afrikaans fluently Own transport & valid drivers licence Computer literate (MS Office; CaseWare experience advantageous). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. High level of integrity, professionalism, and eagerness to learn. Key Responsibilities Assist with audit engagements under supervision, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting. Perform reconciliations, testing, and analysis of financial records. Support the preparation of annual financial statements in line with IFRS. Process client transactions and maintain accurate accounting records. Exposure to tax (individuals, companies, and VAT) and compliance tasks. Ensure adherence to SAICA regulations, firm policies, and ethical standards. Participate in ongoing learning, development sessions, and assessments as required by SAICA. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
