Job Description

Please note this position is based in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia. All relocation costs will be covered. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Structural Engineer with strong expertise in the design and analysis of structural systems for large-scale projects, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, safety, and durability of structural components across construction projects, from initial design through to execution. Key Responsibilities Design, review, and approve structural engineering drawings, models, and calculations. Conduct structural analysis to ensure stability, safety, and compliance with international codes and standards. Oversee structural aspects of construction projects, including steel, concrete, and foundation works. Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and project engineering teams to integrate structural designs into overall project execution. Perform site inspections, risk assessments, and quality assurance of structural works. Provide technical expertise to resolve structural engineering challenges. Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and schedules to support project deliverables. Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus. Professional Engineering registration/certification (preferred). 7 years of proven work experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in construction projects. Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable. Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of structural design principles and international codes (AISC, ACI, Eurocodes, etc.). Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong project management and organizational skills. Effective communication and leadership capabilities. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
