TravelNurseSource is working with Ventura MedStaff to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Waverly, Iowa, 50677! Pay Information $1,982 to $2,182 per week About The Position Travel ER RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Iowa. Shifts consist of 7pm-7:30am with weekend rotation. The RN might also be asked to work some charge shifts. Charge Nurse: Provides leadership during assigned shift and interacts effectively with others to accomplish the requirements of patient care and administrative activities of assigned unit. Engages in anticipatory planning and generating solutions for clinical and operational issues. Act as a clinical resource, sharing knowledge, and assisting staff to complete their work. Anticipate patient needs, staffing requirements; engage in anticipatory planning and generating solutions for both clinical and operational issues on the unit. Coordinate multiple tasks in order to keep unit operations flowing. Provide leadership during assigned shift and interact effectively with others to accomplish the requirements of patient care and administrative activities. Certifications required are ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. Number of beds - 21. Nurse to Patient Ratios - 4-5. The average daily census is 9. Traveler will not float. There might be some call but if there is it would be infrequent. EMR system used is Paragon. Medication system used - Pyxis. Pharmacy Tech - They have an after-hours pharmacy service. Scrub colors required – No specific color. Patients seen are Bariatric, medical and some skilled patients.
