Job Description

We're looking for a proactive, organised and enthusiastic IR/HR Administrator who thrives in a busy environment and is eager to grow within the HR field. Knowledge and abilities: High attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance Understanding of HRIS, RMS and T&A (Signify, Eco-Time, Simplify) Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Onboarding: Support talent acquisition initiatives by performing end-to-end recruitment processes from advertising, screening and headhunting to interviews, offers, and onboarding. Industrial Relations Support: Act as the first point of contact for IR-related queries. Draft and issue formal warnings in line with company policy. Prepare and compile documentation for disciplinary hearings and CCMA cases. Participate in disciplinary hearings. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with labour legislation and internal disciplinary procedures. HR Administration: Manage and maintain HR administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of all HR documentation. HRIS/System Administration: Serve as the administrator for our HR system ensuring the timely and accurate capturing of data, access control, query resolution, and reporting functionality. Performance Management: Support the implementation and administration of performance management processes, including tracking reviews, collating feedback, and maintaining performance-related records. Occupational Health & Safety (OHS): Assist in coordinating OHS initiatives, maintain incident logs, and ensure safety files and risk assessments are up to date. Boxes to tick: Matric 3 years of experience in the relevant field Degree in Human Resource Management or related field Experience with HR and time & attendance systems (e.g., Signify, Eco Time) Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
