Forklift Driver/ Technical Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ensure the depot is clean and tidy at all times Assisting clients loading and off-loading Forklift ensure that the forklift is in good working condition, fuel / oil as and when needed Basic administration skills including answering phones as and when needed Assisting with technical duties i.e. drilling holes when required Assist with dispatching / receiving and ensure all products are dispatched and returned in line with clients stock received Any other duties that may be required by senior management Qualifications : Forklift license Basic computer skills Fluent in English and Afrikaans Basic technical skills use of hand tools 2 years in a similar role and / or worked in building retail environment Basic knowledge of steel and steel products Competencies : Excellent communication Organized Solid understand of hand-tools Steel and steel product knowledge Multi-tasking Ability to use own initiative Excellent customer service
