IT Project Manager (medical industry)

BEPC Inc. provides Specialized Engineering Solutions and IT Project Management services to Fortune 500 companies in the Life Science and Technology industries. BEPC Mexico, a division of BEPC Incorporated, provides and manages consulting services for Automotive and Medical device companies throughout Mexico and around the globe. We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Project Manager with a strong background in project management and a preferred experience in the medical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving digital transformation across multiple sites. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Review and follow up on the IT project portfolio on a monthly basis. Contribute to and potentially lead the development of business cases for proposed IT projects. Manage project plans, budgets, risks, and issues for assigned initiatives. Oversee the integration of Cybersecurity and Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) strategies into the segment product roadmap. Monitor and manage all financial aspects of portfolio management. Drive harmonization across sites within the segment, focusing on digital maturity, business process optimization, and technology standardization. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor´s degree in Engineering in Communication Sciences or similar, master's degree is a plus 6 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and/or 4 years of experience in the medical industry. Advanced level of English (reading, writing and speaking) REQUIERED SKILLS: Proven experience in IT project management, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry . Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong time management and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.). Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Preferred qualifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification. Experience with regulatory compliance in medical environments (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485). Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and digital transformation strategies.
