Cost and Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Perform costing functions including volume, price, and cost analysis Conduct ongoing analysis of process constraints, margin analysis, and target costing projects Validate cost of goods sold during month-end close Maintain ERP system (Master Item List, Bill of Material, Item Standards) Execute ERP month-end procedures including Close and Adjust, and Production End-Jobs Reconciliation Review and audit Bills of Materials (BOMs) to align with current manufacturing practices Analyze labour and overhead rates, budgets, and forecasts; recommend improvements for cost allocations Prepare product-wise profit and loss statements and monthly factory reconciliations Compile monthly performance and cost reports Oversee stock management and provide support to the Finance Department Requirements: BCom Degree or Diploma in Cost & Management Accounting (CIMA qualification advantageous) / BTech Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment Strong Syspro knowledge (essential) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide accurate reporting
