Workshop Foreman Panelbeating

Requirements: Senior Certificate (Grade 12) Qualified Panelbeater ESSENTIAL 3 Years Workshop experience as a qualified Panelbeater in a body repair business a definite advantage End-to-end understanding of workflow and operational processes in a body repair business It would be considered a distinct advantage to have supervisory/foreman experience Proven customer service experience in a technical environment Estimating experience Duties will include, but not limited to: Control all aspects of the vehicle repair process from receipt of job card to delivery of vehicle to customer Ensure efficient logistics surrounding parts supply, repair processes and outwork Communicate possible delays to customers timeously. Ensure quality workmanship and strive towards 100% Fix Right First Time Ensure all vehicles are quality checked before handover to customer Ensure adherence to OEM specified processes and systems Ensure adherence to legal and statutory requirements regarding a safe working environment Optimise business profitability through effective stock control, by minimising repair times and by maximising throughput Assist with quotations as and when required In conjunction with General Manager, ensure all customer complaints are effectively resolved Assist Panelbeaters with problem solving and guidance Identify staff training needs and arrange required training in conjunction with General Manager Essential and Technical Competencies.
