Mechanical Design Engineer

Requirements: Produce accurate 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD/SolidWorks. Develop pump station layouts, block flow diagrams, and GA drawings in line with company standards. Review and verify design documents, resolving discrepancies with Engineers. Compile customer sign-off drawings, manufacturing documentation, and tender renderings. Maintain and expand the companys CAD library and design standards. Provide technical support to the Applications Engineering, Sales, and Service teams. Contribute to SOPs and design processes to ensure scalability as the business grows. 5 years experience in mechanical drafting, preferably in the manufacturing or water-related industries. National Diploma, BTech, or BSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (essential). Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes. Attention to detail, with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, and able to collaborate with Engineers and factory teams locally and internationally. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; broader Microsoft Office skills advantageous. Ability to work independently and in a team, meeting tight deadlines.
