About the Role

Canon U.S.A., Inc. in Melville, NY is currently seeking a Budget Advisor (Advisor, Budget). Lead financial contact for CSG. Responsible for managing the Business Unit budget submission and Financial reporting.

 

This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days).  Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.



Your Impact

  • Acts as liaison between the business unit and accounting team and other departments to ensure financials are accurate
  • Responsible for creating the business unit budget
  • Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial results for the business unit
  • Develops ad hoc reports, account analysis and presentation data
  • Responds to/resolves various inquiries as received by providing appropriate backup/documentation/support
  • Develops, improves and implements any changes to existing processes/procedures to add value and credibility of the data/processes
  • Remains agile through business changes, looking for efficiencies at all times


About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience
  • CPA and/or MBA a plus
  • 2 years budget experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Business Services industry a plus
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hyperion Planning a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong team player who works well in a cross-functional team

 

The anticipated salary range for this position is $96,880 - $145, 090
