Compliance Coordinator

Our client, a leading fruit packhouse outside Ceres , is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent communication and administrative skills, and an interest in working with documentation and processes. The incumbent can also manage multiple compliance tasks simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, audit-driven environment. Key responsibilities will include: *Ensure company-wide compliance with health, safety, quality, and ethical standards (BRC, SIZA, Environmental and OHS) *Conduct inspections, audits, safety talks, and incident investigations *Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, including documentation and corrective actions *Maintain accurate compliance records, registers, and operational documentation *Deliver induction and compliance-related training to employees and Health and Safety representatives *Oversee procurement, distribution, and record-keeping of PPE *all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: Grade 12 required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be beneficial; 2-3 years experience in a similar role within the fruit industry; Completed HACCP and/or BRC training is essential; Understanding of BRC (Version 9), SIZA standards, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act; Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and compliance related software; Valid drivers license.
