Technical Coordinator - Network Projects

TCS is looking for Technical Coordinator - Network Projects Work modality: Hybrid (Candidate needs to be located or relocate to Querétaro, CDMX, Guadalajara or Monterrey, it will be requested to attend office at least 3 day per week) Job summary : We are looking for a Technical Coordinator to support network infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on coordination of on-site activities, technical validation, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with basic networking, including Cisco routing and switching, and wireless technologies. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, operations, and field teams to ensure successful deployments and configurations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate technical activities related to network deployments. Serve as the first point of contact during scheduled maintenance windows, primarily on weekends. Support the installation and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points. Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure network requirements are met. Assist in basic configuration and validation of network equipment (under engineering guidance). Track and report on site readiness, installation progress, and issue resolution. Document deployment steps, configurations, and results accurately. Escalate issues in a timely manner to minimize impact on project timelines. Provide support during testing, cutovers, and post-installation phases. Required Skills Excellent English based written and verbal skills Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, routing, switching). Experience with Cisco network devices (routers, switches). Familiarity with wireless technologies (Wi-Fi setup, access point installation, signal validation). Basic troubleshooting skills for wired and wireless connectivity. Strong organizational and communication skills (English – written and verbal). Ability to manage tasks and coordination across multiple stakeholders. Proficient in using tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, or other project tracking platforms. Experience supporting field deployments or infrastructure rollouts. Availability for after-hours or weekend support during critical deployments may be necessary.
