Accountant - VIP Payroll Specialist

Requirements Matric plus a Financial degree or Diploma Proven experience as an Accountant with payroll responsibilities. Strong knowledge of Sage VIP Payroll (Premier/People). Ability to manage high-volume payrolls with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements. Relevant finance/accounting qualification. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Full payroll processing for up to 1,200 staff members. Accurate calculation of wages, deductions, overtime, and statutory contributions. Preparation and submission of SARS, PAYE, UIF, and other statutory returns. Month-end reconciliations and payroll reporting to management. Resolving payroll queries and ensuring compliance with legislation. Supporting financial reporting and audits related to payroll.
