Job Description Job Description Apple Pediatrics-Bodhi Medical Care LLC is seeking a Pediatric Physician's Assistant to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part our stellar healthcare team. Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses and other health issues under the supervision of MD. Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests Monitoring and operating medical equipment Prescribing medications and non-pharmacologic treatments Coordinating care Counseling Educating patients, their families and communities. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience as a practicing PA Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities Valid Licensing and Certifications We have 4 offices located in Manhattan. Our main office is located on the Upper East Side. We are looking for someone who is available part-time (approx.16-20 hours per week). The schedule would be afternoons/evenings at least 1 day weekday from the hours of 12pm until 8pm, as well as availability at least 2 Saturdays per month. Salary is competitive and commiserate with experience. It is also a benefited position.
