Job Description Job Description Position Overview Job Title: Anesthesia Technician $30 PER HOUR Type: Full-Time Contract Position (13-week assignment) Client/Facility: Mount Sinai Health System Location: New York, NY 10025 Start Date: 09/22/2025 Hours: Per Day: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (7.5 hours/day) Per Week: 37.5 hours/week Days: Monday–Friday (Some weekends required) ✅ Must-Have Requirements Experience: Operating Room (OR) experience (required) Knowledge of medical terminology (required) Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Anesthesia Technician Certification (preferred; strongly desired) Key Job Duties Maintain proper stock levels of drugs and supplies in anesthesia machines, supply carts, cabinets, holding areas, and cardiac medication carts per department protocol Order and stock drugs as directed Accept and verify deliveries of pharmaceutical, warehouse, and vendor supplies; store items in appropriate locations and report discrepancies to management Stock, clean, and organize supplies and equipment in all workrooms and storage areas Maintain temperature logs for anesthesia workroom refrigerators Monitor and remove expired medications and supplies from carts/workrooms; return expired items to pharmacy and restock as needed Skills & Soft Abilities Strong attention to detail in inventory and supply management Ability to work independently and efficiently Effective communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of OR protocols and sterile supply handling Work Setting Hospital-based Operating Room environment Direct support for anesthesia team and surgical services Company Description Pride Global offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts.
