Social Worker

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Social Worker to join our team! You will provide emotional support to clients in individual settings utilizing evidence based approaches (i.e. CBT, EMDR, DBT). *Please ONLY LCSW that are fully licensed* *Must have New York State License to practice* *Respectfully, please do not apply if you are a LMSW, LMHC or provide music/art therapy as we do not offer supervision at this time. Seeking a psychotherapist with experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy for adult clients 18 and up (experience working with children is a plus - higher compensation). This practice accepts both insurance and out of pocket payment. Please be able to provide a minimum of 15 hours per week paid monthly meetings (this is a 1099 position - we do not offer benefits at this time). In this role, you will work collaboratively with psychiatric nurse practitioners and another therapist. *Must have personal liability insurance* Responsibilities: Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history Develop and execute individual treatment plans Determine appropriate milestones to gauge client progress Communicate client updates to all relevant parties Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs Maintain accurate client documentation Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience in social work, counseling, or other related fields Compassionate and caring demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients Strong leadership qualities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills Company Description We are a mental health practice that strives to create a safe, trusting, and engaging environment while ensuring that clients receive top quality, evidence informed care.
