Lead Financial Transformation at Hyatt – Accounts Receivable & Income Journal Manager (Shared Services) | Cancun Hyatt is looking for a results-driven finance leader with proven experience in the hospitality industry to join our Shared Services Center in Cancun. This role is a unique opportunity to lead both Accounts Receivable and Income Journal functions while driving the transformation and optimization of financial operations across our resort portfolio. Location: Cancun, Mexico Industry: Hospitality / Hotels – Shared Services The Opportunity As the Accounts Receivable & Income Journal Manager , you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of revenue capture, receivables management, and related financial reporting. You will lead through change — from process design and implementation to stabilization and continuous improvement — while collaborating closely with property finance teams and global stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable (AR): Oversee the end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, collections, payment application, and credit management. Ensure timely and accurate posting of receivables and reconciliation of customer accounts. Monitor aging reports, identify overdue accounts, and drive collection strategies to minimize DSO. Partner with hotel finance teams to resolve disputes, validate billing accuracy, and maintain strong client relationships. Implement process automation and reporting tools to improve AR efficiency and visibility. Income Journal (Revenue Audit): Ensure daily hotel revenue is accurately captured and reconciled across systems (PMS, POS, and other interfaces). Supervise the income audit process, including cash, credit card, and folio reconciliations. Validate Opera reports and identify discrepancies in revenue recognition. Work closely with property teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant reporting of revenues. Provide training and maintain SOPs to ensure high-quality standards across all properties. Transformation & Leadership: Champion change management through effective communication, stakeholder alignment, and hands-on leadership. Partner with global teams and Hyatt corporate (Chicago) to ensure alignment with financial strategies and policies. Monitor KPIs for both AR and Income Journal to identify improvement opportunities. Travel to properties and delivery centers as needed to support transitions, training, and relationship building. What We're Looking For 4 years of finance/accounting experience, with a strong focus on hospitality operations (hospitality experience required). Leadership experience in Shared Services or multi-property hotel finance roles. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Fluent in English and Spanish. Proficiency with Oracle EBS, Opera, SAP, Blackline, or similar systems. Strong analytical skills, leadership presence, and ability to drive process improvements. Why Join Hyatt?
