Senior Product Owner

About the Role: Are you a strategic thinker with strong Agile expertise and deep knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain? We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our team at GlobalLogic, working closely with a leader in SaaS-based insurance solutions. In this role, you'll serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring delivery of high-impact products that transform how insurers operate in the digital era. What You’ll Do: Act as the primary liaison between product management and engineering teams. Communicate product vision, goals, and priorities clearly to ensure shared understanding. Own and manage the product backlog — prioritize stories, define epics, and ensure backlog items are ready for development. Lead sprint and release planning, and represent the voice of the customer in agile ceremonies. Make business decisions that drive product value, balancing user needs and technical feasibility. Participate in daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and demos. Review deliverables at the end of each sprint and provide go/no-go decisions. Provide transparency through regular progress reporting and stakeholder communication. Work with end users to understand business impact and support defect prioritization and resolution. Mentor junior product owners and support agile team success. Must-have skills: 8 years of experience in product management or product ownership in software engineering environments. Strong domain knowledge in P&C Insurance (Property & Casualty). Deep understanding of Agile methodology, sprint planning, and estimating techniques. Experience managing medium to complex projects and product lifecycles. Familiarity with continuous integration, test-driven development, and backlog grooming. Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills. English level: Advanced (collaboration with global teams required).
