Job Description

We are seeking a Production Assistant to provide critical administrative and operational support to the Production Manager, ensuring that production runs smoothly, deadlines are met, and quality standards are upheld. Key Responsibilities Provide full administrative support to the Production Manager. Prepare, update, and maintain production schedules. Capture and process production data accurately. Monitor and update work-in-progress reports. Liaise with departments regarding materials, trims, and deliveries. Assist with issuing job cards, tracking orders, and maintaining production files. Coordinate communication between production, quality control, and dispatch teams. Ensure documentation (purchase orders, delivery notes, production reports) is accurate and up to date. Assist with preparing reports for management meetings. Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) for production-related documentation. Handle general office duties such as correspondence, scheduling, and filing. Requirements Minimum Matric / Grade 12 Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably clothing or textiles. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent computer literacy (MS Office Excel essential). Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong organizational and communication skills. Team player with a proactive, hands-on approach. Remuneration R13 000 R15 000 CTC Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
