Job Description

People Partner - México Key Responsibilities: Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational goals and translate them into people strategies that drive performance and engagement. Labor Relations & Union Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws and agreements. Knowledge in how manage relationships with unions. Generalist HR Expertise: Apply broad HR knowledge across key areas including employee relations, compensation and benefits, recruitment, performance management, and talent development. Provide support for both operational and administrative populations. Budget & Cost Management: Support and monitor HR-related budget planning, including FTE headcount and cost analysis. Collaborate with Payroll, Rewards, and Finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with business needs. Consulting & Coaching: Offer expert advice and coaching to leaders on HR-related matters, including team development, leadership, and change management. Talent Management: Partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent Development teams to support workforce planning, succession planning, and identification of key talent. Process & Program Oversight: Lead or support HR programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs and HR best practices. May oversee junior staff or coordinate cross-functional efforts. Data & Insights: Analyze HR metrics/KPIs and trends to inform decision-making and identify risks or opportunities for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. 5 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 4 years in a People Partner or similar strategic HR position. Proven experience working with unionized environments and managing labor relations. Strong understanding of Mexican labor law and HR practices for operational and administrative staff. Demonstrated experience in compensation, recruitment, performance evaluation, succession planning, and talent identification. Experience in budget control and cost analysis related to FTEs. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders at various levels. Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
