Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team in Mexico City. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can think critically and independently, and has deep expertise in Mexican payroll laws and processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage and process semi-monthly payroll in collaboration with our payroll vendor, CloudPay. Monitor and respond to payroll-related emails, including handling terminations and coordinating off-cycle payments for involuntary separations. Partner with Treasury and Employee Relations to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution. Maintain compliance with Mexican payroll regulations, including tax and labor law requirements. Utilize Workday (preferred) and other tools to manage employee data and payroll inputs. Communicate effectively across teams using Slack, Gmail, and Front. Ensure data accuracy through advanced Excel functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex data manipulation. Qualifications: 4 years of payroll experience Strong understanding of Mexican payroll laws, including semi-monthly cycles and off-cycle processing. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex data manipulation Experience using Slack, Gmail, and Front in a professional setting. Familiarity with Workday Proven ability to work independently, think critically, and maintain high attention to detail. Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The pay range for this position is 27,000 - 38,000 MXN monthly.
