Mechanical Superintendent

Mechanical Superintendent with experience in Oil&Gas, Chemical, or Industrial Plants for a part-time freelance assignment in Tarragona. 1. Your Role Supervise mechanical field activities, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. Coordinate contractors during installation, testing, and mechanical commissioning phases. Act as the point of contact for project progress between site, engineering, and project management teams. Ensure alignment of mechanical works with technical specifications and applicable regulations. 2. Your Responsibilities Monitor progress and execution of mechanical works on site. Review technical documentation (P&IDs, isometrics, lifting plans). Support pre-commissioning and mechanical start-up activities. Prepare daily reports and flag non-conformities. 3. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil&Gas, Chemical, or Plant Engineering projects. Fluent in English (B2 level or higher). Availability for part-time engagement (3 days/week) on a freelance basis. Skilled in reading technical drawings and using mechanical inspection tools. 4.
