Operations Leader

A global manufacturing company is seeking an Operations Leader to manage and optimize an assigned production area, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement, and delivering operational excellence aligned with customer requirements and business goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field. 5 years of leadership experience in automotive or advanced manufacturing. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience leading teams in a production environment with measurable results. Solid understanding of quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. ERP knowledge (SAP or similar) and strong MS Office proficiency. Advanced English for communication with corporate and customer teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage operations within the assigned production value stream/area. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs. Develop and coach team leaders, supervisors, and operators. Implement Lean tools to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize flow. Support new product launches and process improvements. Monitor daily production schedules, resource allocation, and material flow. Partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues. Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Prepare and present reports on operational performance.
