We are hiring Visual Designers for Brand and Design Systems to join our mission of transforming complex, open-source software into intuitive products that can change perceptions of open source. We seek exceptional designers passionate about impacting millions of engineers, enterprises, entrepreneurs, and consumers. These roles are part of our central Design team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the organization. Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region. The role entails: Working with a diverse team to evolve our brand guidelines and apply them to communications, our UI design system, and digital graphics. Creating clear, stylish presentations that enhance user experience and reach a broad audience. Producing content-focused designs with attention to usability, accessibility, and web standards. Having agency, company, or freelance design experience. What we are looking for in you: Strong academic background from high school and university or an alternative compelling narrative. Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Confidence in sharing ideas, exchanging feedback, and speaking up respectfully. Proven track record of exceeding expectations. Leadership qualities and commitment to skills development and mentorship. Passion for technology demonstrated through personal projects. Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability. Appreciation for diversity and effectiveness in multicultural environments. Self-motivation, thoughtfulness, and results-driven mindset. Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.
