Azienda Innovation Company, with 20 years of experience in IoT & Network fields, is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator/Engineer. Job Responsibilities Design, implement, and document networking and virtual computing infrastructures based on project requirements. Build, deploy, and manage open-source server management platforms for enterprise virtualization, including hardware configuration, services, storage, and containers. Collaborate with Product Software Development, Technical Office, and R&D teams to design and deploy systems aligned with project needs and IT strategy. Manage infrastructure changes following Change Management processes, including planning and executing updates for networking, VPNs, firewalls, etc. Ensure monitoring controls are in place, identify requirements/issues, and propose solutions. Design and oversee monitoring systems like Zabbix and InfluxDB to proactively resolve issues. Troubleshoot system and software configurations and performance problems. Automate provisioning and maintenance of internal IT assets. Research and suggest automated approaches for system administration tasks. Manage the complete lifecycle of compute hardware: deployment, configuration, refresh, and decommissioning. Provide engineering support for compute infrastructure, including troubleshooting. Partner with business groups and vendors to develop technical solutions that advance business objectives. Skills and Experience Experience managing Linux operating systems. Practical knowledge of virtualized infrastructures (VMs, hypervisors like Proxmox, OpenStack) and container systems (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of network and service configurations (VLAN, DNS, routing, firewalls). Knowledge of PC and Dell server hardware (e.g., iDRAC). Methodical problem-solving skills.
