Job Title: Cloud & DevOps Engineer – ESA Missions, Frosinone Location: Rome | Hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days remote) Company: Etinars Job Description: Join a trusted leader in space technology and cloud infrastructure, supporting ESA satellite missions. You will oversee real-time mission operations, ensure system integrity, optimize cloud infrastructure, automate workflows, and maintain system reliability. Your Tasks: Monitor and operate ESA missions in cloud environments. Diagnose and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime. Analyze system performance and implement improvements. Develop scripts for automation of infrastructure management. Assist with software deployments, system upgrades, and integrations. Maintain operational procedures and documentation. Perform routine system maintenance for performance and security. Your Skills: Proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting. Strong Shell Scripting skills (Bash, Python). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs). Experience in project planning and technical reporting. Excellent English communication skills (B2). Nice to Have: Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana. Basic web technologies and server knowledge. Familiarity with databases and space industry protocols. Experience with satellite mission environments. Personal Skills: Proactive problem-solver and team player. Excellent communicator and adaptable. Detail-oriented with analytical skills. Ability to work in multicultural, international teams.
