Accounting Specialist

Job Posting Title Senior Accountant The challenge Haier Europe Group, a multinational leader in home appliances listed on three stock exchanges, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Administration team in Italy. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, organized, results-driven individual with strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills, capable of working in a non-structured environment. What you will do Main tasks : Manage day-to-day accounting activities in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, internal policies, SOX controls, and external audits; Own the financial close process, including reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations within established timelines; Partner closely with the Controlling & Reporting team; Contribute to process improvements and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations and enhance the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, as well as internal controls. What you need to succeed Must have Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Professional Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in a medium-large company or within a Big4 consultancy, in accounting and controlling departments; Willingness to work in a dynamic, growing, and structuring environment. Language : Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) Soft skills : High level of self-organization, prioritization, and commitment; Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills; Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and liaise with global stakeholders.
