Senior Director of Engineering

Responsibilities Lead Global Engineering strategy and execution across all the manufacturing sites. Oversee new product industrialization and ramp up processes to ensure smooth transition from R&D team to mass production. Establish and standardization across site to site the engineering procedure, including processes, SOP, tooling, equipment and training. Provide and review the Global and site KPI indicator by quarterly and yearly, KPI including, OEE, OLE, FPY, scrap, test capability, quality, manufacturing lead time, MRB, surplus equipment and rework. Continuous improvement in manufacturing engineering processes. Road map on manufacturing engineering capabilities and technology. Alignment engineering strategy with business team to meet the business objectives and customer requirement. Talent development leadership and successor from each site and HOD. Automation and AI programs. Manufacturing Engineering performance and data transparency. Collaborate with site leaders to achieve the site performance and deliver customer commitment. Lead overall Manufacturing Engineering technology road map and forecast strategy and investment planning. Overall global cross site training, best practice sharing and team building. Cross function review to eliminate all those none value added processes. Education & Experience Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. 15 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in a global leadership role. Proven experience in new product industrialization, ramp-up planning, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D and operations teams. Leadership & Strategic Skills Demonstrated ability to lead global teams, drive talent development, and build succession pipelines. Strong strategic planning and execution skills aligned with business objectives and customer requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across business units and geographies. Experience in leading cross-site training, best practice sharing, and team-building initiatives. Other Requirements Willingness to travel internationally to support global site operations. Experience working in multicultural and cross-functional environments.
