Process Engineer

A global manufacturing company is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain production processes that ensure efficiency, quality, and safety in alignment with international standards and customer requirements. This role is essential for driving continuous improvement, supporting new product launches, and ensuring operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in automotive or advanced manufacturing. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and process documentation. Hands-on experience in plastic injection molding, assembly, or automation (preferred). Knowledge of quality systems and standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001). Problem-solving skills using 8D, 5Why, and Root Cause Analysis tools. Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office. Bilingual (Spanish & English) for technical communication with global teams. Key Responsibilities Design, validate, and improve production processes to meet efficiency and quality goals. Support new product launches by developing process flows, layouts, and documentation. Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity. Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and ergonomic assessments. Lead PFMEA reviews and update control plans with cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with IATF/ISO standards and customer requirements. Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and quality teams. Identify root causes of process issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams on tooling and equipment improvements. Promote continuous improvement culture and best practices across the plant.
